Global Citizenship

Parker School of Chicago and Tuskegee International Schools- Ghana are part of Chicago Sister Cities, International program. Students from kindergarten through 8th grade correspond with each other and learn about their different cultures through drawings, letters, and projects. Students are encouraged to share information about their country, school, and family that will widen understanding and relationships between the two. There is a yearly project that involves various grades each school year.

I visit Tuskegee School twice a year to offer training in child development  and I work closely with the founder on policies for the school. I teach various age levels and provide learning materials to enhance skills taught in Nursery through 8th grade.
